Ta ta for now Caledonia

It's been a fabulous 5 years living in the luxurious West Chelsea Related Companies building, the Caledonia. It was a tough decision to leave the full service ultra-amenities, but we finally were swayed south, upgrading our junior-4 to a true 2-bedroom with views.

The Feng Shui-inspired lobby has one of the chicest library lounges I have ever had the privelage of couch potato'ing on. And the rooftop lounge (available to residents for private rentals) hosted some epic bashes over the years!

The rooftop lounge has private outdoor space and a grill which made for some great flexibility when my events landed on sunny days.  While there is also another portion of the rooftop that remains open to the rest of the residents.

I'm going to miss living in Chelsea and stepping out my door to bump into clients and friends, but we'll be just down the street in Tribeca for now!

SUMMER IN THE CITY

Clients often ask me where to go after a tiring day of viewing apartments in the NYC summer heat. There are so many outdoor spaces to choose from, but lately I’ve been going back to a West Chelsea favorite, Gallow Green.

Located on the rooftop of the McKittrick Hotel, home of the Sleep No More performance, Gallow Green feels like you just stepped into an enchanted forest. You’d never know that you were steps from the Highline, night clubs or all the luxury high rises and new developments popping up in the neighborhood.

If you’re going on a Sunday after Open House touring, be sure to get a reservation because the delicious brunch is reservation-only. Otherwise, during the week let’s meet there for a happy hour cocktail and enjoy the view!
